Baked Peaches

Baking peaches concentrates their natural sugars for a sweeter, deeper, and richer peach flavor. A quick, easy, and healthier peach dessert.

Ingredients

  • 6 peaches cut in half, pit removed
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cinnamon sticks can replace with 1 teaspoon of ground cinamon
  • 1 vanilla bean split in half, seeds scaped out
  • pinch salt

Instructions

  • Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Slice peaches in half and remove the pit. Optional to add other fruit to the pan at this point, Place in a oven safe pan. Melt butter and drizzple over peaches. Spingle with sugar, top with cinamon and vanilla.
  • Bake for 15 min.

Notes

  • When possible, buy local and organic peaches.
  • Don’t overcrowd the pan.
  • Leftover baked peaches can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4-5 days.
  • To reheat: bake in oven at 350 F for 10 minutes, until warmed through.
