This honey baked brie is salty, sweet, creamy and crunchy for the ultimate decadent fall and holiday appetizer that quickly and easily comes together!

Chef Daniela Gerson drizzling honey on a small baked brie topped with figs, nuts and dried cranberries.

Just look at that warm and ooey gooey brie with the perfect sweet and savory combo of flavors!

Baked brie, freshly out of the oven, with a knife cutting into it so we can see the warm brie oozing out... YUM!

    Why this Recipe Works

    • Balance of flavor and texture! There’s salty, sweet, creamy and crunchy all in this single dish!
    • Quick & Easy! This baked Brie comes together in 15 min!
    • Recipe is versatile! Quantity can easily be halved or doubled. Figs, types of nuts, and the honey can easily be swapped out!
    • The dish falls in that magic intersection of looks highly impressive but actually super low maintenance to make!

Bringing a crowd together over baked brie straight from the oven! This elevated appetizer doubles as a beautiful centerpiece to gather everyone around.

    How to Make this Recipe

Unwrap your Brie and place it in an oven safe dish. Top with fresh figs, walnuts, pistachios, drizzle with honey and bake. Top with pomegranate arils (optional) and watch the entire thang disappear as folks excitedly dig in!

I added the pomegranate arils to dress up the brie with some festive flair!

    Other Brie Topping Ideas

    • Other fresh fruit
    • Dried fruit
    • Jams, preserves, compotes and chutneys
    • Different nuts
    • Different sweeteners, such as maple syrup or date syrup

Serve baked Brie with crackers, bread and/or freshly cut apples and/or pears.

Wanna entertain last minute this Holiday season! No prob! The idea is to have this baked brie recipe in your Holiday appetizer repertoire. Baking brie delivers a unique intensity of flavor. And all the other ingredients are somewhat flexi.

    Cooks Tips

    • An entire wheel or a simply a wedge of brie both work for this recipe.
    • Keep an eye on your brie as it's baking. You want it to be soft, but don't want an oozing mess!
    • The dish you bake the brie in will also be its serving dish so choose wisely!
    • The baked brie is best served warm, fresh from the oven, but still tasty served at room temp.
    • Other types of nuts, fruit and sweeteners can easily be substituted in.
    • Leftovers will keep in the fridge for up to 3 days, re-heat before serving.

First time baking Brie. First time cooking with figs. Turned out amazing. Next time I’ll use more honey, but tbh I’m super impressed. Did skip the walnuts though- got pecans instead and people I cooked for don’t like pecans so skipped those too.
