Baking peaches concentrates their natural sugars for a sweeter, deeper and richer peach flavor. A quick, easy and healthier peach dessert.

Ingredients: Peaches. Butter. Sugar. Cinnamon. Vanilla.
Ripe, juicy peaches are transformed from simple to sublime with very few ingredients.

If you can cut peaches and turn on an oven, you can make this recipe.

Think homemade peach pie… minus the pie.

Why this Baked Peach Recipe Works

    • Quick & easy! Prep your peaches in 10 min or less.
    • Sweeten peaches without adding extra sugar. The heat concentrates their natural sugars for a sweeter, deeper, and richer peach flavor. No extra sugar necessary with this method.
    • Recipe is versatile. See serving suggestions for baked peaches below. Quantity can easily be halved or doubled. Sweetener and spices can easily be swapped.

The beauty of this colorful dish is in its simplicity. It’s what summer cooking is all about – highlighting fresh and local produce at the peak of their season in an easy way with minimal prep.

Peaches are a quintessential summer fruit. Their sweet aromas fill the market stalls, they’re at peak ripeness and bursting with flavor. In California, their harvest is from April through October, with July being the heart of the season for the San Joaquin Valley, the state’s largest growing area.

There’re over 300 varieties of peaches grown in the US and over 2,000 globally. Head to your local farmers market to find connoisseur-quality favorites and varieties other than those widely grown commercially.

A really good summer peach tastes like sunshine.

    How to Bake Peaches

Cut peaches in half, remove pit and arrange them, cute side-up, on a baking dish. Any size works, just be sure not to crowd the pan. Melt butter and drizzle over peaches. Top with vanilla, cinnamon, and sugar. Bake in oven.

Optional: add in other stone fruits as well.

    all done

    Serving Suggestions

Serve them over your yogurt or vanilla ice cream, ricotta, mascarpone, whipped cream, with oatmeal, pancakes, waffles, crepes, French toast, a drizzle of caramel, or eat as is.
